STAR VALLEY, WYO – A house was obliterated by an explosion this morning in Alpine, Wyo.

Buckrail is working on piecing together more details but at this time emergency units are sifting through the remains of a home on Alpine Circle in the Airpark subdivision of Alpine near the airport. It is believed the residence was unoccupied at the time of the incident. It is thought to be a vacation home.

Neighbors reported hearing a loud boom this morning and peeked out their windows to see a house they were familiar with all but gone.

First responders are saying evidence points to a propane detonation of some kind. It is the second such explosion in the past few days. A home outside of Victor, Idaho exploded Saturday morning, according to Teton Valley News.

The destruction was unimaginable. (Courtesy)
