And the raft winner is…

JACKSON, Wyo. — After a long spring and a lengthy Snake River run off, Buckrail is excited to announce the winners of Dave Hansen’s High Water Hayday Contest. Your high water mark guesses flooded in while the Snake River quite literally flooded with flows hitting their peak on June 7th at 23,600 CFS (cubic feet/second). Believe it or not, one of our local participant entries hit the high water mark spot on with their guess.

Drum roll please…

Brynn Powell won herself a new NRS Otter 140 raft by nailing the guess on this year’s high water mark. Powell, a Jackson local, guessed 23,600 exactly.

Our other contest winners include our out-of-area winner, Kevin Swainston, and under-18 winner, Jose Escobedo.

Hailing from Denver, CO, Kevin Swainston was the closest guess for our out-of-area entries (23,590 CFS), winning a whitewater rafting trip with Dave Hansen Whitewater for himself and up to six friends.

With a guess of 23,346 CFS, Jose Escobedo took home the prize for participants under-18, winning a whitewater rafting trip with Dave Hansen Whitewater for himself and up to six friends.

Congrats to Brynn Powell, Kevin Swainston, and Jose Escobedo! The winners have been notified, and we look forward to seeing them out on the river this summer!
