Adrenaline, photography and music: #WonderWednesday

Get to know visiting artists, explore the backcountry through film, photography and music, then learn how to clown around. There’s a lot happening for this week’s #WonderWednesday.

Things kick off on Wednesday with Laramie artist and co-founder of the Wyoming Art Party June Glasson holding a talk and open studio at Teton Art Lab. Then Thursday, the Art Association of JH puts a creative twist on the traditional Chamber Mixer in its Art Gallery and studios.

The inaugural ARC’TERYX Backcountry Academy offers a series of action-packed events, from film screenings and live music to educational sessions on backcountry safety. Check out DailyWonder’s special collection to see all the academy’s evening events in one place.

Finally on Thursday, the library and JH United team up to present the documentary “Whose Streets?” which documents events in Ferguson, MO in the aftermath of Michael Brown’s death. The screening will be introduced by author Alexandra Fuller and followed by a panel discussion.

Move into the weekend by learning how to bring comedy to life with Dancers’ Workshop guest artist Aitor Basauri. Then round things out with a student exhibition opening for “Inside Out” at Jackson Hole Children’s Museum.
