Thermography scan leads to treatment and prevention
It was 2009, 26 years old, and this young woman was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Sarah Felton’s healing journey had begun as she spent several years scouring the net for answers and healing methods. Her proactivity paid off, as she soon discovered thermography.
What is Thermography? The study and information of human thermal physiology through vascular activity. Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) is a non-invasive, FDA approved clinical imaging procedure for measuring, detecting and monitoring a number of diseases, physical injuries, and dysfunction by showing thermal abnormalities present anywhere in your body. “Screening thermography has the opportunity to detect changes. This early detection of change can lead to earlier diagnosis and better treatment options as well as the opportunity for patients and their health care practitioners to intervene at an early stage with preventative treatment.”
It is often used to aid in the diagnosis and prognosis for injuries and conditions, including:
Through a DITI scan, Sarah and her doctors were able to find the direct location of infection that was contributing to further complications. As a result, her immune system was close to shutting down. It was these red, yellow, and blue pictures from the thermogram that were telling enough to give them a direction for treatment. Today and after 7 years of natural and alternative treatments, Sarah’s Lyme disease symptoms are non-existent.
Sold on alternative therapies, Sarah devoted her next few years to furthering her research and education. Today she is a proud owner of Simply Health in Jackson. As well as received her certification as a clinical thermographer through the American College of Clinical Thermology.
