JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Brady Hansen, the new Chief of Jackson Hole Fire/EMS, was formally introduced to local electeds at Monday afternoon’s Joint Information Meeting (JIM). Fire/EMS filled the commissioner’s chambers for the event. Hansen will fill the position vacated by the retirement of Willy Watsabaugh after 40 years with the fire department.
Hansen said even before joining the department he knew of its positive and professional reputation.
Also, Mike Mayer was recognized for his 17 years of service to the department. He is retiring in order to move to Star Valley where he recently purchased a home. Mayer worked out of Station 3 (Hoback) and Station 7 (Adams Canyon).
