JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation advisory board is in the process of developing the department’s five-year capital planning recommendations, and will be accepting applications for Capital Community Improvement Projects for the month of October.
Applications will be reviewed by the board at their meeting on November 9. Applications that are approved to move forward will be scheduled for applicant presentations at the December 14 board meeting. The Board will then vote on the proposed projects at the January 11, 2018 meeting for inclusion in the five-year capital planning recommendations.
Applications that are approved to move forward for presentation to the board should be able to answer the following questions:
- Does this project align with the Parks and Recreation mission?
- Does this project align with the Parks and Recreation strategic plan?
- How were the costs of this project determined?
The goal of the Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department is to provide a variety of safe, modern and affordable recreational facilities and activities that will promote good health and enhance the quality of life for residents of Jackson and Teton County.
