Lower Valley CEO thanks Fall River for their help in Snowpocalypse Brand Font Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Lower Valley Energy CEO Jim Webb took time out to attend a board meeting of Fall River Electric (FRE) last week. Webb wanted to hand-deliver a token of his appreciation to the eastern Idaho power company for their assistance in last February’s Snowpocalypse, when 17 steel power poles were blown down along Teton Village Road in a major winter storm.

Trent Yancey, FRE operations manager; Jim Webb, LVE CEO; Bryan Case, FRE CEO; Doug Schmier, FRE board president.

Representatives from FRE accepted a plaque commemorating their role in helping to restore power to more than 4,000 residences and businesses in the Teton Village area of Jackson Hole. Fall River sent a crew of linemen and, together with LVE and four other assisting utility companies, lights were back on in just four days.

It was the largest power outage in LVE’s 80-year history.
